Tear troughs can easily be treated using non-surgical fillers containing hyaluronic acid. They work by replacing the lost volume that occurs during aging.
It is not advised to use any Juvederm except Juvederm Volbella for this indication.
Why?
Juvederm is the most hydrophilic (water-loving) of all the dermal fillers due to it’s high concentration of HA. This is a disadvantage when it comes to filling around the eye area, especially in the tear troughs. Juvederm Volbella is a lightweight thin filler.
